Who is responsible for your information
Super Canine is the company operating The Super Canine Show website and the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, contact info@supercanine.co.uk.
When you contact the show
The enquiry form collects your name, email address, enquiry type, optional subject and message. We use these to respond and manage guest, media, sponsorship and general correspondence. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.
We rely on our legitimate interests in operating the show, responding to enquiries and protecting the website from abuse. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract with you, or to perform that contract, we rely on the contractual basis for that processing.
Where your enquiry goes
Enquiries are stored in the show’s restricted editorial inbox in Cloudflare D1. A notification containing your enquiry is also sent through Resend to info@supercanine.co.uk, our Google Workspace mailbox. Your email address is used as the reply address. Enquiries are not added to a mailing list or sold. Access to the website inbox is restricted to the authorised editor. Cloudflare, Resend and Google process information to provide their hosting, delivery, email and security services.
How long we keep your information
Website inbox records older than 90 days are removed when the inbox is opened or a new enquiry is received; the editor can delete them sooner. This also removes their associated email delivery records from the website database.
Our policy is to delete enquiry notifications and replies from our mailbox 12 months after the enquiry is resolved. We retain unresolved correspondence while dealing with the enquiry. Mailbox deletion is managed by us separately from the website’s automatic inbox cleanup: deleting a website inbox record does not delete its email copies.
Providers also retain limited logs and recovery copies. On our current Cloudflare Free plan, Workers application logs are retained for three days and D1 database recovery history covers seven days. Resend retains email and log data for 30 days on our plan and backups for seven days.
Deleted mailbox messages may remain in recovery systems before final removal. Google’s data-processing terms allow up to 180 days to complete deletion from its systems after data can no longer be recovered by the customer, unless applicable law requires storage. This provider deletion window is separate from our 12-month mailbox retention policy.
Security and hosting
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes network information, including IP addresses, to serve and protect it. Form protection stores a salted, time-limited hash of the connecting IP address rather than the raw address. Expired rate-limit records are removed on subsequent checks. Editorial sign-in is protected by Cloudflare Access. Provider security processing is separate from the website’s optional audience statistics.
International processing
Our providers and their subprocessors may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Resend’s sending region is Ireland, but this does not mean all of its processing stays there. Their data-processing terms provide transfer safeguards where required: Cloudflare and Resend include standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum, and Google’s terms provide applicable standard contractual clauses or a recognised alternative transfer mechanism.

Optional statistics
Optional website statistics are currently disabled. If enabled in future, they will require your opt-in and will count page views, outbound listening and watching clicks, and completed enquiries in aggregate by date, page and event. They will not contain names, email addresses, persistent visitor identifiers or enquiry content. The preference cookie remembers your choice for six months. You can withdraw your choice at any time below. Essential security processing does not depend on this choice.
You have not opted in. You can change this choice at any time. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are also respected.
Watching and listening
YouTube players are blocked until you explicitly choose to load one. That connects your browser to YouTube, whose own privacy and cookie policies then apply. Loading audio connects to the podcast’s audio host when you press play. External links take you to services with their own policies, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances and the basis for processing, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. Where processing depends on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To object or make another privacy request, contact info@supercanine.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our handling of personal information changes, including changes to hosting, email delivery, retention or optional statistics. The date above identifies the latest update.
